My Life's Complete :)

Now I can say my life's is complete with my k-mix :) Haha ok, not life la but more of a complete kitchen.. hehe.. Well for the benefit of those who doesn't know about what a K-mix is, it is a cake mixer by Kenwood... I love baking! Why Kenwood.. mum's influence.. she's been using hers since she got married.. so its ummm.. like 30 years plus.. dam lasting right??!!

It was a gift from Ter :) He says its my whole year round 2009 present.. meaning.. Valentines, Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Agong's Birthday, Deepavali, Hari Raya.. aiyo all occasions la... but its alright.. I am HAPPEEE..

K still in the box...

Ter said I had my Christmas morning face when I was opening it :D How could I not ya? First of all the top of the box looks a pack of Malborough Reds.. ehehe when I opened the box, the first layer was the manual (of course) packed nicely with a couple of yummy recipes to try out... and it came with a white spatula.. very good, easy cleaning...

Then the second layer (still beaming), the beaters were all arrange nicely and neatly all in a row.. Hehe the best was yet to come la...

Then, taddaaaaa.... my butt naked K all sexy and plastic free :D Yes.. its chilli red.. how awesome ya... its comes with a cover too, so your batter won't splash out while mixing ingredients in... the sales person was saying that this mixer model is much quieter than othe Kenwood mixer.. a more modern technology or something like that la.. Hmmm.. I guess the first thing that I will bake is Orange Cake.. hehehe Ter's favourite...

So ANGRY I need to VENT!

How do I even start.. OMG.. Maybe some advice.. so tell me.. how do you get along with a colleague that you hate... okay hate is a strong word.. let me re-phrase... how do you even try to get along with a colleague that you HATE! Ugh.. just the thought of the ***ker also pisses me off..

Here's a whole list of my dislikes:-

one ~ passing sleezy comments like "leng lui".. excuse me.. u're in an office and fyi my mum did give me a beautiful name and its not "leng lui"

two ~ not concentrating while being taught.. I am wasting my saliva on somebody that is not even listening and in the end waste more of my saliva telling him again.. when he should be listening in the first place...

three ~ clearly you have issues with deadlines why go blame it on your subordinate? take resonsibility of your team rather than blame other people to save your ass?

four ~ you are a ***king accountant.. yes every dollar counts... difference a few thousands petty? what if that few thousands really is a fraud? can't just make the difference disappear.. ***king thwart that too lazy to even try to find out where the ***k you went wrong

five ~ lying... tells me that yah everything ties.. and made me ***king download, check just to find out that is still doesn't tie.. THREE TIMES.. when questionned.. he says "oh, it won't tie wan" then tell me from the beginning and ***king tie it la... why say it ok when clearly it is NOT.. such a dumbass

six ~ comes up with silly theories about every god dam thing which doesn't make any friggin sense at all... here, you be the judge... Can argue ah.. ARGUE that dried fruits has no nutrients.. cause its dry.. like hello.. what about raisin, sun-dried tomatoes, prunes.. FYI, ALL rich in vitamin C.. some more can argue ok... ***king stubborn

seven ~ oh and the muka cipek... sorryla, that forever cannot change.. so I just have to live with that... ugh.. lucky me...

eight ~ dunno what friggin else la... damn alot already la...

tell me... how am I suppose to get along with people like that? eeeeee tak tahan betul...seriously.. go ***k yourself... need smokes......

First uphill run was ok.. Second uphill run was still ok.. Third uphill run.. could not take it anymore.. started walking... hehehe

There was a big bubu in the registration.. I applied for the 10 km run.. ran the 10 km run.. but was actually registered as a half marathon runner that is 21 km.. and my result were SPECTACULAR! 21st placing.. cayalah.. but in actual fact I would have finished like in hundreds of placing.. eheh

Flying before Learning to Run..

Something really ironic happened last weekend...

Ter and I have been planning to buy a place.. we went to view Casa Desa for the second time on Saturday.. This time I brought mum.. and yeah good feeling.. liking it.. dressing the place up mentally.. so many ideas.. colours..

We almost paid for the down payment after viewing the place.. but somehow or rather we didn't.. and what was holding us back was the possibility of not getting a housing loan.. didn't pursue further..

Right after lunch we did some shopping for kitchen and bath.. talked about what we want in the house and etc... so we also went to ikea for more ideas.. and then ended up at Harvey Norman.. Gosh they had so many promotions.. fridge.. washing machine.. dish washer.. Over whelming ah..

We ended up putting a RM300 downpayment of a "Hood + Hob + Oven" by Fagor which were going for RM3,099. It was really a good deal ya and they had limited units.. I had too.. WE had too!!

Feel so silly.. buying kitchen applicances for a kitchen we don't have.. as a matter of fact... a HOUSE we DON'T have!!!

LOL!! we couldn't believe ourselves either.. haha..

Well from the last post you do know that we are planning to get a place.. Here's a couple of things a few of my friends and relatives have mentioned to me..

Dad ~ Don't buy an apartment, an apartment always depreciates in price. Get a landed property, definitely appreciate. Bukit Jalil good location, linked with many highways, and there's couple of new development coming up..

My thoughts.. don't like Bukit Jalil! Too Cina!

Mum ~ She had no comment..

Sister ~ There are plenty of other new developments.. should look around first before you decide

My thoughts.. I should look at my options before we decide.. big sum of money yar.. but the Armanee apartment is going for a really REALLY good deal considering its a corner lot! Which means we would have to decide soon.. its like shopping during sale! And we both really REALLY like the place..

Friend #1 ~ Are you guys planning to live together before marriage? Living in sin is not quite the right way. Since the both of you are already planning to buy a house together, why not try PMPC (Pre-Marital Preparatory Course), an understanding of what marriage is all about. And if you are ready then just get married.

My thoughts.. Ter, totally not into church camps.. not sure if I can coax him into doing this.. actually don't even want to try to go there.. but yeah.. definitely live together only after we get married.. like 7 days a week kinda living together.. it would be ideal of course to get married then get a place but opportunity has presented itself right now.. Can the un-ideal way be done instead?

Friend #2 ~ As much as you love him and is 100% sure that you are going to be with him forever, do not commit yourself to these kinda things. (As in commiting to buy a house together)I have seen this go wrong so many times in so many ways. If you can wait to get married, you can wait to invest, there is no rush. If you are desperate for a place together, then just rent first.

My thoughts.. I have seen people make this same mistake.. and of course at that point I told myself I would not do a silly thing like that.. but now that I am faced with the situation it seems like I am walking down that path.. well in my sister's case it turned out alright.. I do not see us not being together but things never turn out as we plan it to sometimes..

Part of me thinks that..

Yes, I should hold on.. keep my options open.. after looking at other options and you still like this Armanee place and its still open for buy.. its meant to be..

Maybe, I should just push this buying a house thing a side.. until we get married then only we do the house shopping! Save the headache for later!

House shopping!

Last weekend, Ter and I made our long overdue house viewing at Armanee, Damansara Damai.. We are total noobs at it that's for sure because after viewing our first place.. we liked it.. like seriously we LIKE it very much!

Well we are both still weighing the pros and cons..

PROS..

~Its a duplex, meaning 2 floor condo.. yes interesting because its more or less like a link house but condo.. haha..

~The unit we saw is a corner unit which has a humongous balcony which both of us really like.. already picturing all the barbeques we can have..

~The balcony outlooks a very scenic view of the mountain.. and if you look directly down.. you see the forest reserve and the canopies are again breathtaking!

~The whole place is really nice! Landscaping, pool, facilities, the club house and etc..

~Area outside of the condo.. there's Shell.. Mackers.. and a whole lot of shops..

CONS..

~Its fringgin far away.. if you guys are wondering where is it.. its after the One Utama, after the Curve, after the Kepong toll, after Sri Damansara.. yes there.. I can say about 10 mins from the Curve.. but its link with MRR2 which can't be depended on, Penchala link the shortest but most expensive toll and sungai buloh highway or something..

~Considering that I will still be working in Desa, its friggin far! Money and petrol expenses will definitely increase..

~The Duplex is about RM370k.. trying to get it at RM360k for a corner big balcony lot.. We can afford this I think, that is, both our earnings put together of course..

~Its a leasehold.. have to maintenance fee of RM350 per month which comes up to RM4,200 annually..

~We found out that there are some quality problems with Bloack A & Block C, some water seepage through the walls.. asked the sales guy he said that its because the property was once abandoned before.. Also, the contractors for Bloack A & C (Phase 1) were not very good.. hence Block B (Phase 2) were totally differenct contractors..

Factors of which am not sure its a PRO/CON but I guess can let it slip kinda factor..

~The demographics outside the condo area is mainly Malays..

~The traffic around that area is fairly ok according to some of my friends.. jammed up at the school area..

How my Twilight began..

We walked into the DVD shop and Ter was like.. lets watch someting light.. I was like.. ok.. hmmmm... how about Twi-light? He didn't catch that instantaneously but.. he was like ok, you choose.. That night iteself we watched it.. and thats when I fell in love.. *dreamy eyes*

I quickly went to buy the book the next day cause I heard that the book was so much better.. and once I started reading.. I went back the following day again to get all the other 3 books.. tsk tsk tsk.. gila.. yes I know.. but no regrets.. hehe.. As I was paying, the guy behind the counter encouraged me to become a member of MPH as I would received 20% discount on all 3 books. Thinking.. thinking.. I was.. ok. Although I had to pay RM20 for that membership.. I left as a satisfied customer cause I saved RM6 overall and most importantly.. I felt complete with my whole series of the Twilight Saga..

I couldn't put the book down.. Seriously.. was hooked to it.. so kan-chiong.. and so mmm.. can't describe but definitely I melted like ice-cream so many times.. Started becoming a lil bit gila too.. Haha.. Am pretty sad that I have finished the whole series.. and have nothing left to read.. well at least I have the Twilight Journal to look forward too :) Might just start reading the whole series again hahaha cause I am gila.. just like that :)

My Poor Mini Cooper

Whoa getting your car damaged can really really be so friggin expensive..

Being a good Christian last weekend, I woke up early to go for Sunday mass.. driving to church I was quite happy that I would be ON TIME.. almost turning into church Ter reminded me NOT to park inside cause it takes like a super long time to exit when mass is done.. and normally halfway through Communion, an orchestra would be playing in my tummy..

So.. I turned into church and then exited wanting to park by the road.. Well the people going to mosque on friday can do it.. I can also la.. on Sunday.. hehe.. but then no more carpark.. so i was like going further away from church.. tried to make an illegal turn and then.. GOD punised me for all the times I had miss Sunday mass.. My side mirror was gone, my side door was badly scratched, my bumper dented :( my poor baby..

She was so not sexy anymore.. had to fix her quick.. Pa being semi-retired had the time to take my car to workshop.. YAY! Save me all the trouble.. The first day they "da ma gat" (for you banana's it means knock dents out, which includes me cause i had to ask my dad what was that too..) Then the second day the sprayed paint.. I had to fix 4 parts of the car.. left door (cause some ***hole kicked my car, if I find out who I'll kick your car) right door, right side panel and the bumper and it cost me RM700.. WTF right.. aih.. so broke this month.. If the money paid did a good job its ok.. I'd be happy.. but when I saw my car in the morning.. OMG.. I paid so much money just to get spots on the car..

If you think its rain drops.. you're wrong.. I spent about 5 mins using my saliva to rub it off.. and guess what??!! It doesn't come off!!

On top of my new spotted car.. he gave me a "Nice" new number plate.. jaw drop ok.. tak glamour NYE!!

Black marker on a torn cardboard and some masking tape.. ugh.. at least draw la some flowers to decorate abit.. geez..

Don't know whether should I be grateful that I won't get a ticket or angry cause he pimped my car ugly! Confused..

"Floating Restaurant"

Remember the huge downpour on Saturday evening.. almost caused a mini Tsunami in KL

Ter and I were at Sungei Wang that day.. hey its not as bad as you think it is.. well there maybe lots of variety of "seafood" but sometimes its kinda interesting slash weird on how people are just the way the are.. who am I to judge anyway.. all persons are beautiful in their own way.. geez who am I kidding.. whatever..

I got myself a something nice from there :) Well I've been wanting to go back to Zoo's for quite sometime to get myself a dangly belly ring.. something butterfly.. but the minute I saw their collection I fell in love the with the Snowflake.. so pretty :) and its shine-ee and sparkly-eee.. me like-eee.. Until today, I would sometimes randomly lift my shirt just to check out my ring.. wahaha.. (FYI the pic is not very good because your nooby friend here is neither good at blogging or tacking pics, I shall show you when I see you la ok.. haha)

Well, I was not the only who got myself something nice.. Ter decided that it was time to submit to his evil side that has been whispering to buy that X Box 360 or PS3.. Well he got the X Box instead for RM1,600 which includes the console of course, 2 orginal wireless controller, charger for the batteries, 2 original games and 10 other game plus one thrown in for free.. haha how cool was that.. good deal eh.. We didn't touch it till Sunday.. right after mass and breakfast we had a full day combo of Gears of War 2.. "Go go go.. peta peta peta.. (FYI peta means gun sounds spelt out)

Oh, I almost forgot to blog about the "Floating Restaurant" You must be wondering huh? how? what? doesn't connect, wait wait I story you now.. Still at Sungei Wang, we had no idea what to eat.. as usual.. but this time we didn't fight about it.. kept our options open by walking to Jalan Imbi.. on the way it started to pour so we had to just pick one randomly.. we ended at this place (forgot what its called) famous for its "Sang Har Meen" (Prawn Noodles) and "Ngau Hor" (Beef Noodles) but we had the Beefy and Porky one yumm.. while eating the rain just kept pouring and the waters from the roads suddenly came gushing into the restaurant, the outside bit.. we had to move inside.. even so after like 20mins.. the water was also coming into the inside bit.. if you're confused, the restaurant was basically at a lower level from the roads.. all the other customers were also eating with their feet up.. hehe the flood didn't stop the customers from eating neither did it stop the cook from cooking! Tauke was saying good business will come after because water coming in is always brings good luck! I was like being sampat and all taking pics thinking I could win RM50 for the Star Pic thingy.. so "hadap".. but too bad.. didn't get any good ones.. wasn't that big of a deal anyway.. haha but it was definitely not something you experience everyday..

Lots of other things floating definitely.. thank God we didn't have to go through the flood, we used the back door exit

Winds of Change...

You smell it? .. you smell it? .. it was my fart.. LOL

Anyway, for those of you who had noticed.. I was not online much today because I had to change my workstation... from a just nice table snuggled at the corner.. not any corner but "My Corner" to a humungous table where its exposed to everyone like a public toilet cause everyone.. I mean Everyone just walks by.. Urgh.. This means no more Lexulous with you Jeek.. No more FB-ing.. No MSN-ing.. No more.. No more and NO, I had not been promoted or anything like that.. in times like these.. dream on..

Some people shifted because of Feng Shui reasons.. my collegue was complaning that the lights right above him resembled blades attacking him right on the head which equals to bad Feng Shui and he was proposing to use some sort of a cloth or something to "block" the blades.. I was like thinking to myself (mouth wide open while listening to him), are you serious ah?? Old thinking still exists... but seriously OMG.. how superstitious can some people get..

After the shift I am kinda liking it actually.. good in a way to put me back on track and to not LLB but be really busy.. been slacking a while.. Oh and I have new friend ;) He's Ben and he will bring me heaps of luck.. hopefully..
